Royal Caribbean

Overview

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line will make your cruise adventure even more memorable.
One thing that keeps their guests coming back again and again is friendly and personal service. Maybe it's a server who remembers the name of your daughter's teddy bear. Or the bartender who remembers the extra olive. Or perhaps the housekeeper who reminds you of your dinner reservation time. Their unique style of service will enhance every aspect of your cruise. No matter where you are - the pool, the dining room, the spa or your room - get ready to be wowed! This is way beyond normal service. This is Gold Anchor Service.
Royal Caribbean operates one of cruising's most intriguing fleets. Ships range from mid-sized and middle-aged to state-of-the-art and over-the-top mega-ships. The line continuously updates even its oldest ships, bringing onboard some of the most popular features from its newest vessels. The line boasts the four biggest ships in the world -- Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas.
Offering diverse destinations and innovative amenities like rock-climbing walls, ice-skating rinks and the FlowRider surf simulator - Royal Caribbean is perfect for travelers who want it all.

There’s nothing like the sound of cards being shuffled, chips being stacked and slot machines paying off. Consider Royal Caribbean’s Casino Royale to be a little bit of Vegas, a little bit of Monte Carlo, and a lot of RCCL fun. They’ve got games for all levels of players.
RCCL offers so many sports and fitness choices that you’ll break a sweat just trying to choose what to do next. Only Royal Caribbean gives you the chance to surf onboard a ship. The sloped, wavelike surface of the FlowRider is perfect for beginning, intermediate and advanced surfers. Play basketball or volleyball on the Sports Deck. Climb Royal Caribbean’s signature rock climbing walls. Take a spinning class or train with a fitness professional. The Sports Deck onboard select new ships offers a thrilling new experience – the Zip Line. Then catch your breath with a yoga class while you enjoy the ocean view.
Indulgence begins here. Your treatment will be choreographed by Royal Caribbean’s spa staff to ensure the most enjoyable and beneficial result.
The finest Signature Treatments will optimize your relaxation onboard, leaving you refreshed, rejuvenated and replenished. With all the luxurious spa treatments available, it can be tough deciding which to choose.
YSPA is for teens only, dedicated to serving the younger generation ages 13 to 17. Father-son and mother-daughter massage packages offer a great opportunity for some quality time bonding.
Fun isn’t just for adults at ship. Kids from 3-17 are invited to take part in the exciting, complimentary Adventure Ocean Youth Programs. Adventure Ocean was specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Every cruise is different. But one thing never changes: your child will get to learn about local customs, try cool science experiments, and make great new friends. To participate, children must be three years of age and potty-trained (diaper and pull-up free). And you can feel confident leaving your children with them because every member of their youth staff holds a college degree in education or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children.

FAQs

What travel documents do I need to board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship (Non-U.S. Citizens)?
For US Sailings- Non-US Citizens will require a passport and the necessary visa for entry into the United States. On Transatlantic and Transpacific sailings European and Chinese guests will require ESTA (Europe) and EVUS (China). For International Sailings - Non-US Citizens will require a passport book with a minimum of 6 months validity post the return of your sailing and the supporting visa for entry and exit from the country, if applicable. For Cuba Sailings - All guests — regardless of country of residence — are required to meet one of the 12 categories of authorized travel while onshore in Cuba and to carry the appropriate visa if applicable. Additionally, all guests cruising to Cuba, regardless of age or country of residence, must present a passport booklet (NO passport cards or other forms of I.D. will be accepted) valid for at least 6 months after sailing date. It is important that the name on your reservation be exactly as it is stated on your passport or other official proof of nationality. If your name has changed since your document was issued (e.g., marriage or divorce), it is required that you update the document with the new name or provide an official supporting document (e.g., a state, county or province issued marriage license, divorce decree or legal name change document) of the name change. All documents must be the original or a notarized copy. Additionally, if you are using an identification (e.g., driver's license) and a citizenship document ( e.g., birth certificate), then BOTH documents must match the name on your reservation. Otherwise, it may result in delay or possible denial of boarding. No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.
How do I get luggage tags?
The Royal guest document (eDocs - electronic document) issue includes a bag tag specific to the guest ship, sailing date, stateroom and deck number. The bag tag also provides information on how it should be used. In addition, generic bag tags are available at the pier on the day of boarding.
How much luggage can I bring onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship?
Each guest is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal property (including luggage) aboard the vessel; however, for your comfort and convenience, it is recommended that you limit the number of pieces you take. Each guest has the option to carry their luggage on board or check-in luggage prior to boarding. Luggage may include suitcases, trunks, valises, satchels, bags, hangers containing clothing, toiletries and similar items. Here are some recommendations for packing only cruise essentials. We recommend that guests personally carry any boarding documentation such as passports, visas, citizenship documents and family legal documents plus all medications. To minimize the potential for diversion or loss of medications, we advise that all medications remain in their original, labeled prescription containers. It is also advisable to pack at least three days of extra medication in the event of an unexpected change in the itinerary of the voyage. It is also a good idea for guests to pack a small carry-on bag with a change of clothes, and bathing suit. That way they don't have to wait for their checked bags to arrive in their stateroom. Luggage may be locked only with a TSA approved lock. Any carry-on luggage must be able to fit through the x-ray screening machines. These machines vary in size from port to port, however generally they are similar to those found at airport security check points. Guests wishing to carry their luggage with them during boarding should note that their stateroom may not be immediately available to store their luggage.
What dining options are offered onboard?
Dining options vary from ship to ship, but here's an idea of what you'll find: Enjoy a warm, full meal for breakfast and multi-course feast for dinner in the Main Dining Room Options abound in the Windjammer Café - perfect for a quick lunch or a casual meal. Our Specialty Restaurants - like Chops Grille - offer amazing food in a restaurant atmosphere. If you've got a sweet tooth, grab a scoop at Ben & Jerry's or a creamy shake at Johnny Rockets - our lively onboard diner. Meals from many onboard venues, such as the Main Dining Room and Windjammer Café, are included in the price of your cruise. Reservations are only required for dinner. There is a service charge per person to dine at Chops Grille and Johnny Rockets. Prices are subject to change.
How do I purchase a dining package?
All dining packages can be purchased onboard or after payment applied toward a reservation; however, availability for the packages is limited so we suggest they are purchased precruise (through the Cruise Planner) to have the best selection of dining times. Dining packages do not include beverages. Beverages will be charged separately at regular price. Should you wish to cancel your package, guests may do so via Cruise Planner or onboard with guest services.
What internet options are available on board Royal Caribbean cruise ships?
There are 2 options to stay connected while onboard. 1. VOOM Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) All you need is a wireless device with wifi capability. 2. Wired (iCafes) Internet stations are available onboard, the location of which vary depending on the ship. VOOM is available onboard all ships fleetwide. Prices for internet access vary and are subject to change. Log on to the to the network ""royal-wifi"" using your device, open your browser and follow instructions to log on.
When should I arrive at the port terminal to board my cruise ship?
Guests should arrive to the port no later than 60 minutes prior to the published sail time. Guests should adhere to the published check-in windows, where applicable, that can be found in their E-docs (electronic documents) or during general boarding which depends on the ship’s sail time. Due to new government regulations requiring cruise lines to submit final departure manifests at least 60 minutes prior to sailing, guests are requested to complete Online Check-in no later than 3 days prior to their cruise. If you do not complete Online Check-in 3 days prior, you will be required to complete this process at the pier at least two hours prior to the published sailing time. Please note: All guests must be checked-in and onboard the ship no later than 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time or you will not be permitted to sail. If you choose to fly ChoiceAir, Royal Caribbean automatically displays only the airline schedules that will enable you to meet your cruise. For your return home, you have the ability to select the flight that best suits your schedule. Depending on your disembarkation time and port, the time needed to arrive at the airport will vary.
