In each ship’s main restaurant, dining is a special occasion with renowned seven-course menus, including a different regional Italian specialty each night. They call their medley of fresh Mediterranean flavors La Cucina Italiana.
Signature dishes designed by two star Michelin chef Mauro Uliassi are featured onboard MSC Magnifica’s Loasi restaurant and will soon be available on all Musica class a la carte restaurants.
The MSC Preziosa is home to a fun water park where you can get splashed and soaked at each and every turn.This 120-meter waterslide includes strobe lights and a section that goes over the side of the ship. Get ready for a wild ride. This feature is only on the MSC Preziosa.

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO GO ON A CRUISE?
Each guest is responsible for acquiring and presenting all travel documents necessary for boarding the ship in their respective country of embarkation, documents including a valid passport and any visas required for the cruise itinerary.
HOW DOES THE BOARDING WORK ON MSC SHIPS?
Embarkation begins at the Check-In time shown on the cruise ticket. Check-In closes 90 minutes before the ship departure time, except for American ports, where Check-In closes two hours before. It is extremely important that you always arrive at the port with your e-ticket, including the embarkation form with complete and accurate personal data.
HOW MANY PIECES OF LUGGAGE CAN I TAKE ON BOARD?
Two pieces of luggage per person is the accepted limit*
ARE THE PRICES ON BOARD MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THOSE ON LAND?
No. In fact the special operating environment that regulates the maritime sector means that many products (such as alcohol, tobacco and fragrances) can be sold duty free, bringing reductions of up to 30% off retail prices on land.
IS THERE WI-FI ON BOARD?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available on board all of our ships.
ARE THERE SPECIAL MENUS FOR GLUTEN-FREE GUESTS OR FOR THOSE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES/INTOLERANCES?
Guests with a food intolerance and/or allergies must inform MSC Cruises of their needs via the Special Needs Form and, once on board, confirm their requirements at Reception-Guest Service and/or with the Maître d’hôtel. MSC Cruises has obtained a certification from Bureau Veritas to provide gluten-free menus worldwide (food code: 20 ppm) in the main restaurants of MSC Divina, MSC Fantasia, MSC Magnifica, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Musica, MSC Orchestra, MSC Poesia, MSC Preziosa, MSC Splendida. On Lirica class guests can find only pre-packaged gluten-free snacks such as, biscuits, croissants, sponge cakes and muffins. Once MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview and MSC Bellissima are launched, we will complete the certification process with Bureau Veritas that will allow us to offer gluten-free menus on these ships as well. Please check availability of gluten-free menus at time of booking. Pre-packed Kosher meals and high-quality Halal products (beef, lamb and poultry) are available if requested at least two months before departure.
HOW DO UPGRADES WORK?
Each experience upgrade will require a stateroom upgrade as well. There are 3 types of upgrades: - an Experience upgrade (e.g. from Balcony Bella to Balcony Fantastica) - a stateroom category upgrade (e.g. from Inside Bella to Balcony Bella) - an Experience and stateroom category upgrade (e.g. from Inside Bella to Balcony Fantastica) Upgrades are subject to availability, and can be requested only during the validity of a certain promotion. WHAT IS SATELLITE INTERNET ACCESS AND HOW DOES IT WORK? When at sea, it is not possible to access the internet using a high-speed broadband connection as you would on land. Instead, internet connectivity on board is provided by links between the ship and communications satellites in orbit far above the Earth.
